Cr Knight brings extensive leadership experience to the City of Mandurah, shaped by long service as a Councillor and previous terms as Deputy Mayor and Mayor. She has lived in Mandurah for almost 30 years and has played a significant role in guiding the city through periods of growth, change, and regional collaboration.
Her experience in regional planning, governance, and community development has given her a strong understanding of Mandurah’s opportunities and long-term priorities. She brings a strategic, evidence-based approach to decision making and a clear focus on balancing economic development, environmental stewardship, and social wellbeing.
With a professional background as a medical scientist and long-standing commitment to community involvement, Cr Knight offers a thoughtful and informed perspective on the issues shaping Mandurah’s future. Her leadership has been recognised through the 2023 WALGA Local Government Merit Award for outstanding contribution to Local Government.
