We value the important role that community groups and support services play in the health, wellbeing and connection of Mandurah's community.

Community safety

Mandurah is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Working closely with WA Police and Neighbourhood Watch WA, the City delivers programs and initiatives to enhance safety across our community.

Meet Your Neighbours Fund

Build stronger connections in your neighbourhood!

Getting to know your neighbours is a simple way to create a safer, stronger and more connected community. The City of Mandurah’s Meet Your Neighbours Fund provides up to $300 for residents to host a street BBQ or neighbourhood get-together – helping you meet new neighbours, strengthen existing connections, have fun and look out for one another.

Use the funding for BBQ supplies, basic event items and light refreshments, and bring your neighbours together in a local park, street verge, community venue or approved private property. Take the first step today – a simple neighbourhood gathering could be the beginning of stronger relationships and a more connected community.

Resident groups

Local residents groups are a great way in which people can meet neighbours and contribute to their community. Each group has its own unique identity, focus, and way of interacting with residents.

Sporting and recreation clubs

With over 100 clubs across Mandurah, there's a sport or recreation group for everyone. The City's Club Connect program provides dedicated support to help clubs be the best they can be — from funding and workshops to one-on-one assistance.
