Local planning framework
Planning policies and frameworks that guide development across the City.
The City invites public comment on certain planning applications before a decision is made. This gives residents, landowners and other interested parties the opportunity to have their say on proposals that may affect them.
Mandurah Matters is the City's public notice register. It lists planning applications that are currently open for public comment, including development approvals, scheme amendments, local planning policy amendments and structure plans.
Applications are advertised for a set period — typically 14 days for standard applications and 42 days for more complex proposals such as scheme amendments. Submissions must be received by the City before the close of the advertising period to be considered.
To view current applications on notice and make a submission, visit the Mandurah Matters page on the City's website.
Applications to be determined by the Development Assessment Panel (DAP) are advertised separately through the Development Assessment Panels website.
DAP meetings are open to the public. Interested parties can register to speak at a DAP meeting to present their views directly to the panel. Submissions on DAP applications must be lodged through the Development Assessment Panels website.
DAP meetings are listed on the Development Assessment Panels website along with agendas and minutes.
