Staying active is one of the best ways to improve your physical and mental wellbeing. In Mandurah, movement is part of our daily life. Whether you’re enjoying a morning stroll along the foreshore, exploring bushland trails, or using our free outdoor gyms, staying active helps you connect with nature and your community.
Why live active?
Reduces stress and anxiety, improves mood, enhances sleep quality and boosts brain function improving, memory, concentration and cognitive performance.
Improves cardiovascular health, supports healthy weight, strengthens muscles and bones, boosts immune function and reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke and some cancers.
Encourages social interaction – Group activities and sports can foster friendships and community. Promotes independence in older adults, helping maintain mobility and balance, reducing the risk of falls.

Outdoor Fitness and Yoga classes are held from November through December and February through March. All classes are FREE.

Mandurah offers a delightful trail walking experience through its pristine natural environment, encompassing wetlands, coastline, and nature reserves. The area features many highly rated bushwalking trails, ranging from 2.3 to 8 kilometres, catering to all abilities. These trails are rich with wildlife, including dolphins and migratory birds.
